Deposits & Refunds
Deposits go towards your piercing service, and do not include jewelry. Deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions or refunds for any reason. All sales are final.
Kids Ear Piercings
We pierce children's ear lobes starting at age 5. This is the only piercing service we offer under the age of 16. The identification of the parent and the child's birth certificate are both necessary. We provide a stress-free, tandem service, and if the child decides to withdraw, we offer a full refund. Every child is different, and the age at which they become ready for ear piercings can vary greatly. We insist on letting them make that decision. We use sterile, single-use piercing needles. This is the cleanest and most gentle way to pierce ears. There are many factors that go into a successful ear piercing- angle, depth, and accuracy are a few of the technical factors that we take into account. To ensure that the piercings are done correctly and skillfully the first time, we pierce ears tandem, and always have more than one piercer available.
Outside Jewelry
Please, we ask that you do not bring outside jewelry. Stay True has an extensive selection of quality, professional jewelry, with options for every style and budget. We can price jewelry over the phone for you, or you can browse our selection in-store.
Identification
For adults 18 and older, we require your driver’s license, passport, DMV non-driver I.D., or DMW photo permit. For minors starting at age 16, we require photo identification for both the parent and/or legal guardian as well as the minor being pierced. If the parent has a different last name than the minor, we will need paperwork proving your relationship. For legal guardians, official guardianship papers must be presented. We also will need the original copy of the minor's long form birth certificate. If you do not have proper ID with you at the time of your appointment, we will not be able to pierce you, and your deposit will be forfeited. No exceptions.
Cancellations
If you need to reschedule your appointment, that is fine! You must give us at least a 24 hour notice. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, your deposits will be forfeited. Deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions.
Late Arrivals
You are asked to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to go over any necessary paperwork, complete an anatomy assessment, and select your jewelry. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled, and your deposit will be forfeited. No exceptions.
